Casio Pánské Hodinky PRG-240T-7ER

I've been looking for this particular watch for a while at the right price and chriselli ticked all the boxes, best price and very quick delivery, as for the watch, well, when you first take it out of the box it feels a little toy like compared to a steel bracelet watch but this is due to the titanium bracelet which are brilliant for everyday use, the functions of the watch need setting up but once done the barometer, compass and thermometer were all exactly the same readings as the Met office and are very sensitive to change so you know the pressure readings are always spot on, you can record data such as temp, pressure and your altitude which is great when out walking or running, being an ex military I found the compass feature brilliant and very accurate, the watch is quite big but if you like your chunky feature filled watches then this is the one for you, all in all a great watch for the adventurous types

I had owned a Casio Sea Pathfinder for many years which was very good, but the tides were not accurate enough to be useful and the cost of replacing the batteries became progressively painful (last quote £45), also it needed a 4th new resin strap.
I chose this as a replacement because it was solar powered and had a titanium band. There are no instructions on how to shorten the band, it is fairly obvious, however take care not to loose the small metal sleeve that drops out when you remove the pin from a link!
The watch is comfortable to wear and the buttons can be operated wearing gloves and work well. The illumination is an improvement, particularly around dusk when the blue glowing characters on my old watch were difficult to read until it became dark.
A much improved product for the same price as my old Sea Pathfinder
